Allahabad University UGAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant who has passed or appeared in any stream of the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/ C.B.S.E./ I.C.S.E. or an examination equivalent. The equivalence as defined in University Ordinances-2008 or by UGC Regulations as decided from time to time thereto is eligible to apply for the
  Undergraduate Admission Tests (UGAT).
• An applicant who has passed or appeared at the above examination with Science Group is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Maths, Biology and Home Science groups respectively).
• The candidate who has passed or appeared in the above examination with the Commerce stream or Science stream will be eligible for admission to B.Com.
• For BA (Music)/B.P. Application forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Music as one of the subjects at Intermediate level or they have passed an equivalent examination in Music from a recognized Institution.
• Only such female applicants are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Home Science), who have passed or appeared at the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/ C.B.S.E./ I.C.S.E. or an examination equivalent either with (a) Science Group, or (b) With any other Group having Home Science as one of the subjects after having passed the High School (or equivalent) examination with Science Group.
• For B.A. (Urdu) application forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Urdu as one of the subjects at Intermediate level or they have passed an equivalent examination in Urdu from a recognized Institution.
• For B.A. (Geography) application forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Geography as one of the subjects at the Intermediate level or they have passed an equivalent examination in Geography from a recognized Institution.
