The Admit Card for GATE 2020 will be available only on the GOAPS website. A student has to download his/ her Admit Card from this website. Note that the Hall Tickets will not be sent to the candidates by post/e-mail. The GATE test is conducted annually by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati and Roorkee) on a rotational basis. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Admit Card 2020
Students must bring a print-out of the downloaded GATE Admit Card 2020 to the exam for the verification along with the original photo Identity documents (no photocopy/scanned copy/not an expired document), which was provided during the filling up of the online application (for example Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Employee ID, and Driving License). The GATE Hall Ticket 2020 is valid if and only if the candidate’s photograph and signature images are clear and legible.
The photo on the hall ticket and that in the valid photo identity document should match with the appearance of the applicant on the day of examination. To ensure this, print the GATE 2020 Admit Card on an A4 sized paper using a laser printer preferably a color printer. GATE Examination Cities
The student can choose three cities from the list of examination cities. The first and second choices of the student must be from the same GATE zone, and the third choice can be from any GATE zone. If a contender chooses a particular city (in a specific region) as the first choice, then he/ she will be able to determine the city as the second choice only from that particular zone.
However, the third choice can be from any one of the listed towns by the applicant (i.e., no restriction on the zone for the third choice city). Note that, because of the operational constraints, the GATE Committee reserves the right to add a new town or remove an existing one, and allot a city that may not be from any of the choices selected by the applicant.
