NIACL Administrative Officer Exam Pattern 2025

The Prelims Exam is for 100 marks, and the Mains Exam is for 200 marks. The Prelims Exam has only objective-type questions, while the Mains Exam includes both objective and descriptive-type questions

NIACL AO Prelims Exam Pattern:

  • Three sections: English, Reasoning, and Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude are covered in the prelims exam.
  • The duration for the exam is 1 hour (20 minutes each section)
  • A penalty of ¼th mark is deducted for incorrect answers.

NIACL AO Mains Exam Pattern:

  • 2 parts Objective & Descriptive type
  • The total duration of the NIACL AO Mains Exam is 3 hours which is divided as 2.5 hours for objective (sectionally divided) and 30 minutes for descriptive.
  • There will be 200 MCQ-type questions and 2 Essay/Letter Writing questions.
  • ¼ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
