Students must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

• Must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.

• Should be enrolled in a recognized school, college, or institution in UP.

• Must belong to General, OBC, SC, ST, or Minority communities.

• Should be studying in Class 9 to Class 12 for Pre or Post Matric Scholarships.

Family Income Criteria for UP Pre-matric scholarship

To apply for the scholarship, students must meet the annual income limit set by the government:

For UP Pre Matric Scholarship (Class 9 & 10)

• Annual family income should not exceed ₹1 lakh from all sources.

For UP Post Matric Scholarship (Class 11 & 12)

• Annual family income should not exceed ₹2 lakh from all sources.
