Xylem Careers 2025 – Responsibilities

• Create CAD Drawings and 3D models of Engineered Products, including overall layout, General Arrangement, Assembly and Fabrication Drawings (for Sheet metal & Structural) for each project.
• Design of Primary and Secondary Clarifier Product by referring Proposal Document, Civil Drawing, Client GA, Site Mark-up Document.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
• Update the Model / GA Drawing based on the Mark-up Comments.
• Create and update the database for the executed Job including Drawings generated for future reference.
• Modify and Improve the Modeling process in existing approach to reduce the Modeling Time.
• Provide timely communications to significant issues.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to address technical decision, coordinate work and execute product development plan.
• Take direction from Team Lead / Manager to perform.
• Contributes as a team member in the development of projects carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe and professional manner.
• Ensuring the Quality of the Design and Services.

Xylem Jobs 2025 – Qualifications and Skills

• BE., / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest to build a career in Mechanical design, working on 3D modelling, preparation of detail drawings, bill of materials etc., using the 3D software, Autodesk Inventor.
• Fresh Engineering Graduates are eligible to apply.
• If experienced, then few months to a maximum of 2 years of hands-on experience in 3D CAD using Autodesk Inventor. Exposure in AutoCAD and Solidworks will be an added advantage but not a must.
• Candidates who have worked in Water Treatment Industries, Effluent Treatment Plant are preferable
• Experienced in Preparing 2D GA drawing of Primary Clarifiers (Rectangle), Secondary Clarifier (Circle), Thickeners, Orbals.
• Experienced in designing of structural components like Pier assemblies, Cage assemblies, Truss assemblies, Platform assemblies etc,, Tank weldment assemblies for Primary Clarifiers (Rectangle), Secondary Clarifier (Circle), Thickeners, Orbals
• Exposure to MS Office package for preparing necessary documents, excel files and ppt’s will be an advantage.
• Experience in working with international teams towards engineering design will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills to liaise with international teams; Extra miler / self-driven to meet the commitments / goals. Be analytical and problem solving.
